Skills Sessions

	Skill Sessions are for any S.M.A.R.T. Academy students who wish to enhance their practical skills. This opportunity can be used for those wishing to prepare for examinations, refresh skills, or improve existing skills. Skills integration will include complete trauma and/or medical scenarios from the scene and primary surveys to moving and lifting and transport of patients in the ambulance. Sessions will be held on various dates. Please call us at 453-4412 for the next one. All sessions will start at 6:00 pm and run for three hours. The location will be Unit #11-854 Marion Ave. at our new Fire / EMS training facility. For non-"S.M.A.R.T." students, the cost for each skills session will be $40.00 to cover the cost of equipment, instructor fees, fuel for the ambulance, etc. Sessions are free of charge for "S.M.A.R.T." students. Pre-registration MUST be completed by each participant by calling us at 453-4412 or email to lise@smartems.net Uniforms including EMR T-Shirt (or Navy T-Shirt), Navy / Black Pants / Black Footware Those not in uniform will not be allowed to participate.
